Shelter belt composed of a single row of Caragana trees, Indian Head Forest Nursery Station, Saskatchewan. |
Trees were grown from seed sown in the fall of 1909. By 1933 it had reached a height of 20 feet, with a spread of 16 feet, and made an ideal windbreak in both Winter and Summer. |
